Quantity Surveyor - London - W

An opportunity to oversee a complex £15m project is here for you!

A highly-respected tier 2 civil engineering contractor has identified the need to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial function of a £15m project in West London. The project will start at demolition stage and will involve groundworks, piling, façade retention, substructure and superstructure works. This will last at least 18 months, and then they have plenty of new tenders in the pipeline for you.

As the Quantity Surveyor, your duties will be:

• Be the commercial representative for the project when meeting the client
• Use your commercial abilities to reduce costs/maximise profits
• Produce bills of quantities and use drawings for take-offs

The successful Quantity Surveyor will have a proven background in the civil engineering sector, demonstrating the ability to oversee projects under their own control. A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management will also be advantageous.
