The Company:

As a £400m+ turnover contractor, this organisation has built a reputation for being a leader in providing excellence in service and expertise for utilities projects across the UK. They cover all sectors of utilities, including water, power, gas and telecoms. Their portfolio is built of both long-term framework agreements and one-off assigned projects. After being successful in winning awards recently such as ‘top 50 women in Engineering’ and being endorsed for their training and development regimes, they are now looking to use this success to expand as an organisation.

The Role:

Due to recent evaluations of their team on a large utilities framework contracts valued at over £50m per annum, they are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to take full autonomy over a portion of the work. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be reporting directly to the Commercial lead and will have the opportunity to take up to £10m worth of work under their remit. This will be delivered using the NEC form of contract. There will be the opportunity for fast-track development into becoming a Senior Quantity Surveyor too. On offer alongside the salary is a package including company car or car/travel allowance, pension and healthcare!

The Ideal Individual:

• NEC contract experience
• Experience working for a civils or utilities contractor
• Low value, high volume experience
