Quantity Surveyor - London

The Company:

A widely-renowned construction and civils contractor that prides themselves on their award-winning, specialist, in-house divisions. They deliver a variety of first-class projects to prestigious clients including main contractors, blue chip organisations, developers and private clients. Their project value ranges between £1-45m and operate within South East England and their core services include groundworks, RC frames, basements, demolition, retail & petroleum and design & build. Currently their turnover sits at around £100m with their projected for the next year being £125m.

The Role:

Due to a recent restructure within the organisation, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of work within their ‘retail & petroleum’ division. These are projects that are released from an agreed framework contract for major supermarkets and fuel stations. Project values range between £5k-3m and cover groundworks and fitout solutions. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be managing assigned projects from inception through to completion and will be using the JCT form of contract (which includes a schedule of rates).

The Ideal Quantity Surveyor:

• 5+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience working on projects within fitout and groundworks
• JCT contract experience
• Schedule of rates experience
