The Company:

A company that has built a significant reputation in the demolition industry for being the ‘first-choice’ in the South East. They have been in operation for over three decades and have grown their turnover to over £60m. Their portfolio of work comes from operating either as a principal or sub-contractor and have worked within the residential, commercial, rail, nuclear and industrial markets. They take pride in the fact that they have the ability to adapt to a variety of environments and are always looking to take on new challenges.

The Role:

After successful tendering in recent times, they have identified the need to recruit two Quantity Surveyors to deliver the commercial function over set portfolios of work. These will be projects ranging between £250k-10m. The successful Quantity Surveyors will be working under their own direction operating closely with the Project Manager and will report to a driven Commercial Director. This Commercial Director is a devoted individual that is keen to realise the full potential of his team and committed to full training and development. Realistic career prospects are also on offer with successful performance leading to the possibility of being promoted to Senior Quantity Surveyor in the next two years.

The Ideal Quantity Surveyor:

• Experience of managing own projects/packages between £250k-10m
• Ability to work under own direction and control
• Structured career history working for civils or construction contractors
