Quantity Surveyor - Essex

After successfully securing 15 schemes, this multi-disciplined contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee a portfolio of work comprising of groundworks, basements, structures, facades, RC frames and general building. Each project ranges between £1-10m in value and they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with the ability to oversee the commercial function of up to 4 of these schemes.

As a Quantity Surveyor, your duties will be to:

• Get involved with the more complex procurement, working closely with the Buyers in the organisation
• Attend site visits 2-3 times per week (all work in London)
• Work closely with the pre-construction team in pricing your own future work

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a structured career history within the sectors in question. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or equivalent qualification is also required.
