A popular JV consisting of two of the UK’s biggest utility contractors. Started in 2013, the Joint Venture was formed in order to deliver a contract with a client that operates all over London. With both companies considered massive players in not only the utility sector but in general civil engineering overall, this really is one of the biggest JV’s in the UK.

Initially an 8 year contract, the sum of the works equates to over £1.5 Billion. The contract is due to end in 2021 with the opportunity for extension which is likely. Works consist of low value, high volume as well as larger scale works.

The ideal surveyor:

• At least 3 years’ experience in the utility sector
• Exposure to the Low Value, High Volume type of work
• Structured career history
• Experience in using the NEC contract type
• Degree Qualified
