Quantity Surveyor (Water and Civils)

Salary:  to £50k + package

Based:  West Midlands / Hybrid (B80)

Our client has just secured a major water project and framework and requires a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.  They are seen as one of the leaders within the water engineering sector.

The role of Quantity Surveyor will involve providing support and advice on cost control and procurement, as well as providing technical support on NEC contract methods and activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all tasks and projects, in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. A strong knowledge of the NEC contract and its application is essential for this role.  The ability to work independently and take ownership of a project is highly desirable.
