Quantity Surveyor (Specialist Civils)
Salary:  to £48k + excellent package + bonus
Based:  Buckinghamshire

About the Company:
An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking for quick progression prospects into management, with the view to overseeing a division of this outstanding contractor that currently delivers a turnover of £15m per annum but growing!  The group business has a turnover of nearly £1bn, incorporating major civils, build and leisure.  They have an excellent reputation of looking after their staff and can be seen as one of the most favourable contractors to work for in the UK.

About the Role:
The Quantity Surveyor is required for their demolition and specialist civils division.  The work is made up of in-house and competitive tender, with schemes ranging from £250k – 4m.  The projects are across England but are mainly focused in the Northern Home Counties and Midlands regions.  The role will see you work closely with the Commercial Director and Divisional Director in ensuring the contracts are delivering on their commercial targets and forecasts.  In time the idea will be to grow the diviison, which will see you take a key and active part in that process.

About You:

• Ideally degree or HND level qualification as a Quantity Surveyor
• Have taken commercial control over your own projects, from inception through to completion
• Have a structured career history
• Have good client interfacing skills
• Be able to work under your own initiative
