Quantity Surveyor (Civils)

Salary:  to £60k + benefits

Based:  Central London (EC1)

A company with an outstanding reputation within the civils and construction industry requires a Quantity Surveyor for their rapidly growing infrastructure division.

This award winning contractor has put a key element of focus on developing their civils offering to the market which has resulted in them securing key contracts within rail, aviation and highways.  Project sizes will range in value up to £25m and will involve structures, groundworks, drainage and general civils. The outlook and expectations for the division in the coming years is excellent and they expect further growth given the large amount of spend expected within infrastructure in London and the South East.

The role will initially be to work on a £10m public realm space in the city, assisting a Lead Quantity Surveyor.  Large amounts of change are happening on the project which is being delivered under the NEC Option A contract. Following this there are key aviation and rail contracts where they will be delivering structures and groundworks to the value of £40m.

Suitable candidate will have the following background:

• Civils or Groundworks Structures experience
• Ideally NEC, although the above will be the key driver
• Looking for a long term role and looking to progress your career
• Want to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Able to work independently
• HND / Degree level qualification
