Quantity Surveyor (Highways Framework)

Freelance:  £250 per day Ltd

Based:  East Sussex (BN8)

A major civils and infrastructure contractor seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join one of their key highways framework project.

The role will see the suitable Quantity Surveyor get involved in specific civils works that will involve damage and repair works on the framework, working of a schedule of rates.  You will need to be able to assess the cost for the works, commercially deliver it but also settle the claim amount with the client / insurers. 

The suitable candidate will require the following experience:

• Be able to work of a schedule of rates
• Open to either building or civils experience, repair / damage project and insurance experience will be beneficial
• Strong written and oral skills and be able to communicate to the client effectively
• Ability to work within a team environment
• 5 + years’ experience
