Quantity Surveyor - Kent

A leading utilities contractor have found themselves on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on their South-East water framework. With the last 6 months of the original 5 year AMP left, they are looking for someone to come in and be a part of the 5 year renewal to 2025 as well as finishing off the last 6 months of the current contract.

The contract covers the reactive works on lots 2 & 3 of the South-East Water Waste Network in the Kent area. The Term service Framework is worth over £35m per annum and is being delivered under many contract type forms including NEC.

With lots of work in the pipeline, this company are very steady and can provide excellent progression opportunities which could see the right Quantity Surveyor really enhance their career.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will look to support the Commercial Manager and the team on all commercial aspects of the contract including, the recovery of value and preparation of year-end settlement proposals maximising profit and controlling costs.

ESSENTIAL:

• Awareness and ability with numerous contract forms
• Accuracy with reporting, including timely Cost Value Reports
• Ability to support Commercial Manager & Contracts Manager in account forecasting and general costings
• Experience in assisting in the bid management process
