Quantity Surveyor - Kent

A leading utilities contractor have found themselves on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on their South East water framework. This contract is for the reactive works on lots 2 & 3. The Term service Framework is worth over £35m per annum.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will look to support the Commercial Manager and the team on all commercial aspects of the contract including, the recovery of value and preparation of year-end settlement proposals maximising profit and controlling costs.

Essential for the ideal Quantity Surveyor:

• Ability to maintain and build relationships
• Excellent awareness and ability with numerous contract forms
• Accuracy with reporting, including timely Cost Value Reports
• Ability to support Commercial Manager & Contracts Manager in account forecasting and general costings
• Experience assisting in the bid management process
