The Company

A reinstatement specialist and highways maintenance operator just shy of their 25^th company anniversary. Founded with just two employees and now with over 500, they have grown into a well-respected, high quality contractor with a turnover of over £55 Million. They pride themselves on their family feel environment. Recently found themselves with a number of lucrative contracts that will see them grow even further.

The Role

As their contract book has grown, they have growing needs themselves for a Quantity Surveyor to oversee a portfolio of projects in the London and Hertfordshire area. The successful Quantity surveyor would fit in amongst the current team which consists of a Senior Quantity Surveyor as well as few Junior Quantity Surveyors that would learn under their guidance. The successful Quantity Surveyor would ideally be able to handle their own portfolio of work without so called “hand holding”, but there is support from Senior members of the team should you need it.

The Ideal Quantity Surveyor

- A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or equivalent

- Over 2 years’ experience in the Utility sector

- Ability to take on portfolio of work without too much guidance and hand holding
