The Company

A leading Tier 1 contractor in the Utilities sector who find themselves with more than enough work to fulfil their business needs for the foreseeable future. With contracts in Water, Transportation and the Power sectors among others, they really do cover the whole lot when it comes to utilities.

The Role

A Quantity Surveyor is required to join a team consisting of a Senior Quantity Surveyor as well as a Commercial Assistant in order to carry out a contract of £36m for a key client. A site based role that would see you working out of their Beddington Substation offices.

Your team would be overseeing the design, installation, supply, commissioning and the testing of a new cable circuit (400kV) between two substations by utilising the existing 10km tunnel. Works would include the repair, refurbishment, upgrade and/ or replacement of the existing system.

Criteria for this role:

• NEC 3 Contract Experience
• Qualified in a RICS Certified Degree
• Commercially Astute
• Previous experience working on large civil contracts
