This is a specialist water and utilities contractor that was formed over 20 years ago that works closely with main contractors and utility providers. Over their years of incorporation, they have grown from small team to a workforce of over 100. The leaders of the business are from the same family, however they are looking to bring in new ideas and recruit future leaders of the business so as they can stay competitive to current market conditions. Clients that have worked with this contractor have reviewed them to be over 90% in satisfaction levels. As a company, they are looking to work within their own niche, and create their own USP in a competitive market.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the Commercial & Finance Manager as well as the company Directors to ensure that two key water frameworks are run successfully from a commercial perspective. Both frameworks are run using the NEC form of contract and total to £6m per annum. There will be two reports for the Quantity Surveyor in two Commercial Administrators. The plan for the successful Quantity Surveyor is to develop a team below them and allow progression to Commercial Management in the next 3-5 years.
