This is an international civil engineering contractor that has a reputation in the industry for being one of the most sought-after companies to work on leading infrastructure schemes. They boast a successful track record of delivering high-quality schemes up to the value of £500m, particularly in the UK, they have been a preferred contractor of Thames Water for numerous years and have recently released an influx of work that requires two experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their team.

The schemes have come through as part of a £90-100m per annum framework agreement with Thames Water to deliver infrastructure schemes that will improve the network. The role will see you being the sole Quantity Surveyor on projects between the values of £1-50m whilst working closely with the site teams. Site visits are 2-3 times a week and are based across London and the Home Counties. There will be client representatives out on site on a regular basis, so previous client liaison experience is essential. All schemes are NEC contract focused.

The successful Quantity Surveyors will ideally have a background in leading civil engineering schemes, or a portfolio totalling to, £10m+ in value, whilst using the NEC form of contract. A degree within Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous.

The Commercial Manager leading the team you will be working in has expressed a desire to keep a core of individuals for a long-term basis to progress through the ranks together. Targets for progression have been set, and after successful performance you will be considered for a promotion to Senior Quantity Surveyor within 18 months.
