Quantity Surveyor (Specialist Civils, Rail and Major Projects) - West Yorkshire

They have built a reputation as one of the market leaders within the ground engineering sector, having been involved in some of the most iconic and prestigious projects in the UK. Their portfolio ranges from major construction schemes through to complex civil engineering projects that will include Crossrail and Thames Tideway.

They have a role for a quantity surveyor within their ground investigation division to focus on the new HS2 project. There will be numerous projects to oversee that will range in value up to £8m over a 3 year period. You will work very closely with the contracts and project managers to gain contractual entitlement, cash flow, managing risk and ensuring the projects are reported and forecasted correctly.

The position will suit someone who likes taking responsibility and working fairly independently, although senior commercial support is always available. As a company they like to invest in their employees so the role will suit someone looking for a long term role and the opportunity for career development and progression.
