This leading engineering and construction company have been awarded a major section of a prestigious Network Rail framework. The works will see key upgrades to the network that will include new complex engineering schemes along with maintenance and upgrades.

They are looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor, reporting into the Project Commercial Manager.  As the chosen Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing some of the key packages of work, initially focusing on the structures and embankment schemes alongside the earthworks.  The overall project value will be in the region of £500m.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have:

  • NEC contract experience
  • Previous Rail experience
  • Experience of working on a project from inception through to completion
