Quantity Surveyor (heavy civils / infrastructure) - Berkshire

A prestigious contract has commenced and this market leading contractor requires a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.  The value of the contract will initially be £500m + and involve heavy civils and structures works, based from Reading.  The contract is currently in the early phases, with remediation and earthworks about to commence.

The role will see you report into a Section Commercial Manager, who in turn reports into the project Commercial Director.  An important element of the Quantity Surveyor’s function will be to manage key sub-contract packages, ranging in value from £500k to 10m. 

The duration on site will be approximately 4 years, with a further section of work being commenced following that.  The role will require the suitable Quantity Surveyor to have the following experience:

-NEC

-Civil / Infrastructure background

-Structured career history, showing progression

-Ability and confidence in delivering as a Quantity Surveyor / Package Surveyor
