Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks and Civils) - West Sussex

An established, respected and quality focused groundworks and civils contractor seeks a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor!

Based in the heart of West Sussex, their work is focused around the Southern Home Counties.  Typical schemes range in value from £250k through to £5m, acting as both a principle and sub-contractor dependant on who the client is.

The need will be for a Quantity Surveyor who is capable of managing wither a larger company scheme or alternatively a portfolio of up to 3 smaller schemes, working closely with the Commercial Director.  You will see the project from inception through to completion, working closely with the project management and engineering teams.

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will have the following experience:

• Tier 1 or 2 Civils contracting background
• Ability to run your own jobs
• Pricing of works would be beneficial but not essential
• Ideally HND / BSc qualification or equivalent
• Locally based in West Sussex or within commutable distance
