Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks) - Surrey

The Company:

A £60m turnover specialist and privately-owned groundworks contractor that delivers solutions to the house building market in the South East of England. They pride themselves on having all of their own machinery and resources to deliver all schemes in house with no outsourcing. Over their 40 years of trading, they have grown a successful and professional team to 150+ direct employees. In this time they have also built a reputation for high-quality delivery which is on time and to budget. Their aspirations are to continuously grow year-on-year and have successfully done so since my dealings with them.

The Role:

As they have grown their order book, they have identified the need to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to oversee 3-4 sites across the South East of England. This could be based in Kent, Surrey or Sussex and will be a predominantly site-based role. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are run successfully to budget working closely with the Project Manager. Assigned projects will be between £5-10m in value.  

The Ideal Quantity Surveyor:

• 3-6 years experience within groundworks/house building as a Quantity Surveyor
• Proven background of delivering projects to budget
• Ability to oversee own projects with little to no guidance
