Protection Design Engineer - London

Do you have experience of control and protection design for high voltage (HV) distribution projects?

Are you looking for a role for one – two days per week?

This exciting opportunity is to join a power distribution consultancy that specialises in power systems and 11kV / 33kV network design.

As a result of an increase in work, they are looking for an HV Protection Engineer on a part-time basis to carry out the following:

• Protection design (mainly 11kV and 33kV, some 132kV)
• Protection studies
• Occasional power systems analysis, network modelling, load flow analysis

Requirements:

• Experience in protection and control design within the power distribution / Distribution Network Operator (DNO) industry
• Driving licence (as you will be required to drive to an update meeting with the consultancy once every six weeks)
• Experience using DigSilent (or similar power systems software – desirable)
