Project Quantity Surveyor - West Sussex

After winning several awards such as ‘top 10 in employee satisfaction’ within their sector, a key player within the utilities market has successfully tendered a large portion of a framework scheme for Southern Water. They are now looking to recruit commercial staff at all levels following this in order to ensure the commercial function of the scheme is run to best capacity.

A framework of this size requires a well-oiled team as “it’s a beast of a contract at £60m per annum”. Within this team, there is a serious potential for long-term work given that the majority of the freelancers there have stayed over 18 months, and are still going strong.

Your role in particular will be to oversee the commercial function of a key package of work within the framework, so a self-driven attitude is essential.

This scheme will run for at least 5 years with probable extension, and given the organisation’s track record, it is highly likely that this will happen.

Required:
Experience working for a civil engineering contractor

Desired:
Degree qualified
Experience working for a utilities contractor
