Project Quantity Surveyor - Hertfordshire

After returning from the New Year break, a Regional Commercial Manager from a key player within the utilities industry has been in touch advising us that after reviewing the work load for 2018, they have identified the need to recruit an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor. This is to manage a key package of work on a framework contract with Thames Water.

The role will see you carry out the following duties:

• Use your commercial acumen to reduce costs of your assigned schemes
• Manage the commercial function of a £15m per annum package of work
• Oversee subcontractor payments and produce accurate CVRs & forecasts

Ideally the successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have a structured career history within the water and civil engineering sectors and will be competent with the NEC form of contract. In return, this contractor is willing to offer a generous salary up to £50k with the choice of company car or car allowance and further generous benefits. Successful performance within 12 months will give you the opportunity for a promotional review.
