Project Quantity Surveyor (Rail / Signalling) - London - N

Due to growth and long term business plans, an established and respected rail contractor seeks an ambitious and career minded Quantity Surveyor to join their team (Senior or Project level).

2017 / 2018 will be a successful years for the company but their outline plans for 2019 / 2020 show strengthening market penetration into the rail signalling, infrastructure and OLE sectors.  They are also looking to diversify their offering into the aviation sector.

Initially the role as Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor will involve overseeing a recently awarded £3m rail contract involving civils and signalling.  You will report into the company Commercial Manager but will be responsible for the full financial control of the contract from inception through to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that will be making positive inroads into a rail sector they feel will be booming in years to come.

The suitable candidate will ideally have the following background:

• Civils or rail experience
• 5 + years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Structured career history
• Enjoy taking on responsibility
