Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor (Rail) - Hertfordshire

An established rail contractor, with a turnover in the region of £50m, seeks a project or senior quantity surveyor to join their team. Their work is predominantly revolved around Network Rail. The role will see you working closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure the works are completed on time and within the financial targets set. You will form a key part of the commercial team, reporting into the company commercial director.

The role will see you get involved in both pre and post construction commercial duties, working closely with the client and being an integral part of ensuring repeat business is maintained as well as securing further projects or extensions to existing schemes. You will also oversee some junior members in the team and ensure their continued development within the business.
