An infrastructure solutions company that was founded over 100 years ago and is one of the oldest civil engineering companies in the UK has been given the responsibility of one of the non-infrastructure frameworks at Severn Trent and has been allocated core projects covering Waste Water in the South and East and Clean Water in the South of Severn Trent’s service area.

Project Manager Role:

  • Carry out quality assessment of the design works to ensure that at the design stage of the project risk assessment in accordance with the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulation was taken into consideration.
  • Liaise with site teams regarding the installation process as a technical support.
  • Reviewing design calculations and value engineering on the role.
  • Leading a team of technical M&E engineers with all of the included duties across both mechanical and electrical systems.

 Project Manager Requirements:

  • Proven Competence in the full spectrum of MEICA installation and commissioning either by academic or apprenticeship routes.
  • Relevant CSCS Card
  • Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management (SMSTS / IOSH)
  • IT literate in MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • A working Knowledge of the principles of the NEC 3 forms of contract through experience and formal training
  • Experience of integrating new equipment into an existing wastewater treatment works. Experience of Sludge treatment processes and or Thermal Hydrolysis would be an advantage.
