Project Manager – Fibre

Salary + Package: £65k + Company car and fuel card, phone, laptop, 20 days annual leave excluding bank holidays, pension.

Location: Gloucester

This Multi-Utilities contractor has over 20 years’ of experience installing, upgrading and maintaining power, gas, telecoms and water networks for their key clients. They have just gone through a rapid expansion and restructure and are now looking for a Field Manager to join their fibre division to help with the rollout of  broadband as they have just won a large network scheme for the installation of fibre to the rural areas of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. This is a fantastic and long term opportunity on a 5 year contract.

As the Project Manager you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will based in the office where you will be visiting sites daily.

Duties:

• Manage the delivery of fibre telecom connections projects.
• Plan and manage resources for site-based delivery.
• Manage sub-contractors and site operatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct site audits and Health & Safety checks.
• Work closely with other engineering departments to deliver successful project completion.
• Make sure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are completed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager working on fibre network point to point connection schemes from a civil engineering perspective.
• NRSWA and SMSTS or SSSTS.
• IOSH.
• Clean driving licence.
