There is now an exciting opportunity for YOU to join this established company as Project Engineer in Cardiff.

About the role:

Based in Cardiff, you will be reporting to the Major Projects Manager (MPM). The client is looking for a Project Engineer who has worked on 33KV projects downwards to join their growing team where you will be providing multi-utility project engineering services in the UK ranging from Feasibility services, design and procurement, project management and site surveys.

The role will include liaising with the MPM and project teams in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, undertake a supporting role for the MPM in meeting financial and marketing objectives to ensure the growth and profitability of the department is achieved.

Project manage the delivery and development of key customer account/s relating to the Utility Services Major Projects department to include turnkey multi and single-utility projects to single and multi-site domestic, commercial and industrial redevelopments projects.

The ideal Project Engineer:

  • Must have Experience managing projects up to 33KV
  • Have Experience in Distribution network operator (DNO), Independent Distribution network operator (IDNO) or Independent connection provider (ICP).
  • Experienced background Project Engineering of utility infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of the Electricity, Telecoms, Gas and Water Utilities industries
  • Will have good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice.
  • Experience of report writing and attending client progress meetings.
