Utility connections experts with an enviable project portfolio and an excellent reputation in the industry

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer or Project Manager with experience in the high voltage (HV) power distribution, multi-utilities (gas, water, HV, telecoms) or building services sectors who is looking to take on a new challenge and something a bit different.

The Project Engineer will join an organisation that specialises in new connections for industrial and commercial buildings, mainly HV (11kV and 33kV), covering management of design and construction activities. This utilities company has enjoyed strong growth in the last few years and are very happy with their position in the market. Demand for their services is constantly growing.

In a varied and interesting role, the HV Project Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Engineering proposals
  • Feasibility studies
  • Project management
  • Client account management
  • Sub-contractor management
  • Site surveys

The HV Project Engineer will oversee the delivery of new connections, managing and liaising with companies working on these schemes, looking after clients throughout the process, attending meetings and conducting site surveys.

We’re looking for an Engineer with a background in the design and / or delivery of HV or general utilities projects, who is comfortable in a client-facing role and has experience in a similar role with either a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or Independent Connections Provider (ICP).  Knowledge of NRSWA would be beneficial.

It’s a great time to join this utility connections service provider so call Andrew Snelgrove today on 020 8655 4935 or email to discuss further.
