Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer (HS2)
Salary:  to £70k + package
Based:  Oxfordshire (OX9)

About the Company / Project:
HS2 won’t need allot of explaining to a Procurement Manager / Experienced Buyer in the sector, but the nature of work will involve a major sub-contract package involving a large viaduct and existing civils work.  The value of the contract will be in the region of £70m, with the role incorporating other areas on the programme of work in time.  The company are a Global infrastructure contractor who have delivered major schemes throughout the UK over the past 20 years.  I believe, currently in the UK, they are the most exciting company to be joining as they are going through some major growth plans backed with an outstanding order book for the coming years.

About the Role:
As Procurement Manager / Lead Buyer, you will work and oversee a small team and will be accountable for procurement delivery for the project.  The role will be reporting to the company Procurement Director.  Specific duties on the role can be provided by request.

About You:

• Have experience working on large infrastructure projects
• Experience in NEC contracts
• Strong client and supply chain interfacing skills
• Experience in procuring large packages of work
• Strong understanding on project delivery, scheduling and planning 
• Good supply chain relationships
• Ideally Degree qualified or MCIPS / equivalent
