This career opportunity involves working with this highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy and approved inspector in the Birmingham office. They require a locally based Building Control professional who is at Senior or Principal level to join this relatively new and growing team based in Birmingham. The role offers the opportunity to develop and manage a portfolio of projects for a varied client base including commercial and small scale residential new build schemes.

As Principal level Building Control professional you will:

• Have the opportunity to assist in the future success of the team and company
• Possess strong communication skills
• Be able to support and mentor colleagues
• Have great client facing skills
• Have the ability to help solve client problems that occur on site in relation to Building Regulations, handling these effectively in writing, over the phone and face to face

It is highly desirable that you hold or are working towards an RICS or ABE and have experience as a Senior or Principal level Building Control Surveyor working for an approved inspector or Local Authority.
