About the Role:

This company works across the UK, and offers a comprehensive service to check the compliance of their clients’ projects against the Building Regulations. They are highly experienced working across all sectors, including small scale domestic, up to multi-million pound developments. They are looking for a Principal Building Control Manager in central London to provide a customer focused building control plans and Managing a team of Building Control Surveyors.

What will your role involve?

• Maintain a portfolio of projects and clients whilst efficiently prioritising own workload.
• Foster sound working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
• Vet applicable documents and drawings to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations, associated statutory legislation and guidance.
• Attend client and design team meetings to give professional building control advice.
• Consult with the fire authorities and other statutory bodies as necessary.
• Ensure DMS records are maintained to ensure the Company’s Quality Procedures, service levels and contractual requirements are being met.
• Ensure health and safety site measures are adhered to including the use of all protective/safety equipment.

The successful Principal Building Control Manager will have:

• Membership of RICS or CABE
• Experience in managing a team
• Current valid driving licence.

What‘s on offer?

On offer is a salary of £50k to £60k salary with a fuel allowance and a bonus at the end of the year.
