Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor (Rail and Civils) - Hertfordshire

Respected, growing and forward thinking rail contractor seeks a Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

The company have enjoyed and achieved an impressive 5 year growth strategy that has seen them secure key contracts in the UK.  They are now looking to develop the business further and in order to do that they feel strengthening their pre-construction division will be key in this process.

They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them to work closely with the Managing Estimator and Pre-Construction Director, in creating and delivering accurate and competitive tenders for clients that would include Network Rail, London Underground and a few major Tier 1 contractors.  These bids will range from £3m to £25m in value. 

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will need the following experience:

• Ideally have a civils / rail background, although not essential
• Wants to move into pre-construction / estimating
• Possess a structured career history
• Have a dynamic approach to the way you work
• Good at client interfacing
• Able to meet tight deadlines when required
• Good IT skills
