Initial Term:  9 Month Contract

Location:       London

Rate:              to £900 per day (Ltd Co)

This company is an award winning global contractor, delivering a number of major infrastructure projects across the UK, consisting of heavy civils, earthworks, structures and complex communication systems.

Currently involved with some of the largest projects in the UK this is an exceptional opportunity to join a business with thrilling growth plans over the next 3 to 5 years, with aspirations to double revenues; in order to continue their growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Manager to lead their successful Planning team and support the bid process on some amazing forthcoming infrastructure projects.

To be considered for this role the successful Planning Manager will have the following background and experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years proven experience in the planning sector gained with a main contractor working on large rail or highways projects (circa £100m) ideally including tunnelling works
  • Degree or higher level qualification in a numerate discipline typically an engineering or related discipline
  • Membership of a chartered institute (e.g. CIOB, ICE)
  • Proven experience working on successful tenders / bid preparation
  • Structured career history
