An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planned Works Building Surveyor to join a great organisation based in South London. The role will initially be for the duration of 6 months, with the likelihood of this being extended.
As Planned Works Building Surveyor you will:
Carry out pre inspections on housing stock with a strong emphasis on defect diagnoses
Handle and deal with complaints in a professional manner
Undertake post inspections of completed works assessing quality and value for money using the schedule of rates
Ensure the effective project management of the planned maintenance contracts with a strong emphasis on partnering contracts
Project manage the kitchen and bathroom replacement programme of planned works
Manage the cyclical declarations programme
To be considered for this role you:
Must have 5 years’ experience working within a public sector organisation within housing
Have worked as a Project Manager or Building Surveyor on major works projects
A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role
Should have experience of handling budgets and working with the general public
Will preferably have an all-round construction knowledge from electrical to carpentry and have experience of reactive and planned maintenance
