Planned Works Building Surveyor - Hertfordshire

A vacancy has arisen for a Planned Works Building Surveyor working within the public sector. This is an exciting opportunity working for a company that don’t often have vacancies.

The role is a contract position, initially for the duration of 6 months, with the likelihood of this being extended.  

Your duties will include:

Carrying out pre inspections on housing stock, managing a kitchen and bathroom replacement programme 

Handling and dealing with complaints in a professional manner

Undertaking post inspections of completed works, assessing quality and value for money using the schedule of rates

Ensuring the effective project management of maintenance contracts with a strong emphasis on partnering contracts

Managing a kitchen, bathroom and cyclical declarations programme up to the value of £2 million 

To be considered for this role:

Previous experience working within a public sector organisation is preferable with over 5 years’ current experience within this area

You will have worked as a project manager or building surveyor

You should have experience of handling budgets of up to £2million and of working with the general public

A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role
