Multi-Utility Project Manager - West Midlands

Established for over a decade, this utilities contractor specialises in the construction and installation of multi-utility services to clients mainly based in the Midlands.  Their areas of expertise include:

• Installation of new connections – electricity / high voltage (HV), gas and water
• Utility replacement works
• Backfilling
• Reinstatement

Due to the success in winning a substantial amount of work, they require a Multi-Utility Project Manager to run schemes in a role that will be mainly office based, but with visits to sites across the country an important part of the job.

Duties:

• Project manage the installation of multi-utility connections (mainly electricity / HV and water but also gas) and associated installations
• Lead projects to a successful close, on time and within budget
• Ensure adherence to health and safety on site
• Take responsibility for project planning and co-ordination
• Manage contractors working on utility network and civil installation / construction activities
• Produce risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
• Liaise with local authorities, Highways Agency and Distribution Network Operators

Requirements:

• Experience as a Multi-Utility Project Manager, with experience of HV and water installations
• SSSTS / SMSTS and NRSWA Supervisor
• Driving licence
