Mechanical Handover Engineer 

Location: Ireland, Cork

Salary: TBC

 

Are you looking for a permanent role on a pharmaceutical project?

Do you have experience working in the Engineering industry?

 

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer isometrics for the project to incorporate constructability requirements.
  • Issue isometrics to the fabrication department to be completed as per schedule, in order of priority requirements.
  • Ensure all Isometrics, P&ID’s and GA’s are latest revision for refence by the project team.
  • Populate EIDA / Progress tracker with project drawings.
  • Review weld logs to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to client handover.
  • Agree and align the turnover package requirements with the client.
  • Ensure as-building of isometrics and P&IDs are accurate and up to date.
  • Engage with Quality to compile all material certs for handover.
  • Coordinate testing of CAT II and CAT III pipe work with nominated body e.g. TUV Rheinland. – ensure record of testing is retained for handover.
  • Pressure Testing – ensure are aligned with system / scope boundary requirements.
  • Compile test packs for execution of testing scope and handover.
  • Complete W1 / W2 /W3  walks with the Client to ensure timely system handover.
  • Generate and manage master punch list per system walk down.
  • Ensure quality is maintained to a high standard throughout the project.
  • Ensure all ITP requirements are met as regards paperwork for handover to client.
  • Ensure quality of welding and fabrication is maintained at the required standard as set by the clients quality matrix and plan.
  • Complete Progress tracking and reporting weekly to the client to ensure the schedule is adhered to.
  • Assist quality audits of the pipe fabrication and welding process, identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the Management of inspection of incoming goods and report non-conformances to the client so that resolutions are found in a timely manner.
  • Manage subcontractors and report the NDT percentages weekly to the client, boro-scoping and X-ray etc, ensure all associated paperwork with compiled, and reviewed for handover to client.
  • Ensure issued work packs, isometric packs to supervisors are asbuilt and transferred to the master project folder for record and handover.
  • Subcontractor scope alignment – ensure insulation, painting contractors etc. are aligned with project requirements with regard to specs
