The Company

A well established company that has been firm operators in the Data Centre side of things for a long time now with a pedigree in these projects that has garnered them a reputation that is second to none. Processed and strategic, this company runs very well and is always on the ball when it comes to making key decisions. It has recently been identified that this company is in need of a Mechanical Consultant.

The Role

As Mechanical Consultant, you will be seen as a subject matter expert where your previous experience and capabilities will be key in the general coordination of key Data Centre projects. The Mechanical Consultant job title is given to those who are capable of being the source of key technical input when it comes to site due diligence, design phases and construction administration phases of the project. Reporting to a Program Director, you will be part of a team that collaborates and manages internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Detailed understanding of a Data Centres Mechanical Design (HVAC, Chilled Water, DX Refrigerant, Evaporative and related control systems)
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered Engineer
• At least 5 years Data Centre experience
