Managing Quantity Surveyor HS2 - Warwickshire

The biggest infrastructure contract since WW2 is about to ramp up, the much anticipated HS2!!

One of the biggest sections of work will be the West Midlands route.

Part of that route will involve some of the most complex and interesting ground engineering ever done on a major infrastructure project  in the UK. 

My client, delivering the work with their JV partner, require a commercially astute Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee a key section of this work.  The role will involve managing a small team of Quantity Surveyors of varying levels to ensure that commercially the project is run to the financial targets set.  You will work closely with a Senior Commercial Manager.

The suitable applicant will ideally have the following background and experience:

• £50m + package or project management experience being commercially responsible for
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• Able to manage a team of quantity surveyors
• NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
• Understanding of ground engineering beneficial
