A challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work on a large highways contract for a leading highways service provider. The chosen Managing Quantity Surveyor will be career driven and have the ability to lead a small, dynamic team of Quantity Surveyors to deliver on their major schemes (up to £5m) or maintenance projects (high volume/low value projects) dependent on your experience.

The role will see you lead your team to deliver and control the commercial aspects of the project and ensure that they are delivered on time and to a high standard. Some responsibilities include, meeting with clients and ensuring that you have a strong, motivated team that will help you in completing the tasks that are required. The Managing Quantity Surveyor will report directly to the Commercial Manager to provide updates on the progress of the portfolios of work. In return you will be offered a great benefits package and given excellent guidance from individuals with decades of experience within the industry that can support you in strengthening and developing your skills and leadership qualities, opening up a number of career prospects for you. 

Required:

• Structured career history
• 5 years’ management experience
• 10 years’ in Quantity Surveying  
• Highways experience
• NEC forms of contract experience
