Managing Quantity Surveyor (Highways)

Salary:  £75k + package

Based:  Leeds (LS11)

A Managing Quantity Surveyor is required for my client who have developed an outstanding reputation in the UK over the past 50 years.  They are a multi diversified engineering and construction company that have seen enormous expansion over the past 3 years through acquisitions and growth.  Their project portfolios range from £500k through to £300m, working as both a principal and specialist contractor.

They have a key National Highways contract in the region of £50m where they are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to take commercial control over.  Reporting into the Sector Commercial Director, the contract requires strong cost control.  It will see you work closely with the client daily.

The suitable Managing Quantity Surveyor will ideally have the following experience:

• Have worked on a National Highways contract
• Have strong cost control experience
• Able to manage a small commercial team
• Strong client interfacing skills
