Managing Quantity Surveyor (Heavy Infrastructure & MEICA framework) - Hertfordshire

This exciting Joint Venture consisting of some of the leading engineering contractors, requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

The works delivered will cover a portfolio in the region of £2.5 billion and involve major, complex engineering solutions on water related contracts in the South East. The works will be challenging but highly rewarding, involving some intricate and state of the art engineering techniques to complete the construction works.

They seek a career minded Managing Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a long term career prospect. The role will see you report into the Head of Commercial, and become a key commercial member responsible for ensuring the works are delivered within the commercial targets set. You will also oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors ranging in levels from Assistant through to Project / Senior Quantity Surveyors.

The position will suit a Managing Quantity Surveyor with the following experience:

- Strong knowledge of NEC

- Strong commercial awareness / astuteness

- Ability to manage, oversee and get the most out of a team

- Good decision making skills
