This award winning Housing Association are passionate about providing affordable and quality homes across the Midlands, London, Home Counties and the South East. Over the next five years they have plans for expansion and are now looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join their growing team in the South London region to assist them in continuing to deliver a high level of service to their existing and future residents.

What will your role involve?

Your role as Maintenance Surveyor will see you performing day to day building surveying tasks including:

• Managing insurance claims related to properties
• Limiting risk to the organisation through working knowledge of risk management techniques
• Specifying, authorising and managing works to completion
• Carrying out pre and post inspections.

The successful Maintenance Surveyor will have:

• Extensive knowledge of housing maintenance
• Experience in repair & re-let repair specifications, diagnosing defects, remedial and void works
• Good interpersonal skills along with the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships
• Valid driving licence
