Maintenance Surveyor - London

This London Borough is looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to form part of the Property Maintenance team managing commercial buildings across the borough.  The Maintenance Surveyor will have a good track record and be able to deliver quality work on time and within budget.

The Maintenance Surveyor will:

• Check work completed
• Raising orders and disputes
• Chairing Meetings
• Agreeing KPI’s 
• Approving invoices
• Assist in the design and work brief

Successful Maintenance Surveyor will have:

• Experience in Building Maintenance at a supervisory or management level.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance related Health & Safety, technical and legislative requirements and the skills to manage this effectively to ensure compliance.
• A working knowledge of building maintenance related Health & Safety, technical and legislative requirements and the skills to manage this effectively to ensure compliance
• Knowledge of Commercial Buildings.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to produce and present clear technical reports
• Knowledge of Microsoft office package
• Carry out site inspection approval of contractors’ work.
• Carry out measurements for costing purposes

On offer to the chosen Maintenance Surveyor is a starting salary of £39,000 with fuel allowance and flexible working, allowing you to have an excellent work - life balance.
