HV Supervisor - London

This company designs and builds HV substations, mainly at 11kV and 33kV and thanks to significant project wins want to strengthen their already excellent team with an additional HV Supervisor who will oversee the installation of HV equipment, such as switchgear, transformers and cabling. 

Duties:

• Supervise HV installations, ensuring works are carried out safely and on time
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations
• Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Liaise with and oversee gangs, contractors, site agents and suppliers for material deliveries
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operator (DNO), Highways Agency and Local Authority
• Work closely with project co-ordinators to ensure successful completion of schemes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resourcing records
• Provide close support to Project Manager
• Tool box talks

Requirements:

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence
• Qualifications / tickets / authorisations in Electrical Engineering
• NRSWA Supervisor (advantageous)
• Previous experience working as an Electrical Supervisor or HV Supervisor for substation fit-outs – Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or Independent Connections Provider (ICP)
