You’ll be joining a market-leading company within the power distribution industry, who have built an excellent reputation for the high standards they consistently achieve. The projects are exciting too as you’ll be managing the construction of power distribution substations (11kV).
Duties:
Oversee the construction of high voltage (HV) substations and associated HV installations
Lead projects to a successful close, on time and within budget
Ensure adherence to health and safety on site
Manage contractors working on HV and civil installation / construction activities
Carry out risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
Liaise with local authorities, Highways Agency and Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience as a Project Manager within the HV / power distribution / substation construction and installation or new connections sectors, including private networks.
Qualifications in Electrical Engineering and ideally NRSWA and SMSTS / SSSTS are also required, as is a driving licence.
