HV Project Manager

£45,000 - £52,000 plus vehicle and package

Norfolk (Norwich), Suffolk (Ipswich), Cambridgeshire (Cambridge)

• Is your background in the management of high voltage (HV) projects?
• Do you have an appreciation of the civils aspects of these schemes?
• Would you like to work for a major utilities contractor?

This opportunity is with a utilities organisation that specialises in power distribution works up to 132kV, covering cable installations, new connections and substation upgrades.  They are looking for a Project Manager with previous experience in these areas to deliver similar schemes across East Anglia.

The role:

• Project management of these HV network jobs
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and sub-contractors
• Create project plans outlining milestones, financial information and material requirements
• Ensure projects are complete to specification, on time and within budget
• Put together Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

To be considered:

• Experience as an HV Project Manager or 11kV / 33kV Project Manager within the power distribution sector, having worked on schemes for either the Distribution Network Operators (DNO), or Independent Connections Provider (ICP), with understanding of the civil engineering aspect of these projects
• Driving licence
• Qualification in Electrical Engineering (essential) and project management (desirable)
• UKPN substation entry (desirable)
