HV Project Manager - Kent

£45,000 - £55,000, benefits include 25 days holidays and pension scheme - Distribution - Construction

The purpose of this role is to manage high voltage (HV) power distribution projects to a successful conclusion, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time and within budget in accordance with legislation governing the industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of HV networks projects, including installations and asset replacement
  • Review pre-construction information
  • Liaise with client and engineering team to understand requirements and specifications of the schemes
  • Put together projects plans to include timescales, milestones, resource requirements and costs
  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and other documentation
  • Lead project review meetings
  • Lead the team, carry out performance reviews, manage contractors

Requirements:

  • Experience as an HV Project Manager or 11kV / 33kV Project Manager within the power distribution sector, having worked on schemes for either the Distribution Network Operators (DNO), or Independent Connections Provider (ICP)
  • Driving licence
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • SMSTS
  • IOSH
  • Project management qualification, such as Prince 2, APM or PMI
